Local Actions ‘FEM Forward’
FYEG is launching the call for Local Actions (LA) ‘FEM Forward’, a grant opportunity for green youth activists and organisations to design and implement LA on intersectional feminism. Selected applicants will receive funding, training and mentoring to organise workshops, campaigns, community events or other participatory activities that apply intersectional feminist approaches in their local, regional or national contexts. The program aims to help young people turn knowledge into action, strengthen their organisations and communities, and act as long-term multipliers of intersectional feminist values and practices.
This activity is the second phase of FYEG’s Annual Work Plan “We are IN for FEMinism”, funded by the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe.
FYEG will grant up to 1,500 EUR per project. The applicant can design a project with a bigger budget if needed and bear the extra expenses with its own resources.
With this activity, green youth activists and organisations have the possibility to:
workshops, campaigns, or community events in their local contexts;
develop project management experience;
expand their understanding of intersectional feminism.
support the creation and distribution of tangible outputs, such as informative campaigns, resource materials, or reports.
FYEG will organise an online information session in September for all interested activists. This info session will include a presentation on the grant program, an explanation of the practical application details, and a Q&A session for potential applicants.
Applicants should design and implement a Local Action that applies and disseminates intersectional feminist knowledge gained during the Summer camp - the FEM Camp - and approaches in their local, regional, or national context. More specifically, the following activities will be considered for funding:
Workshops and training activities on intersectional feminism and its connection to political, social, environmental, or economic issues;
Awareness-raising or advocacy campaigns, implemented online and offline, including campaign materials, digital content, public actions, and outreach activities;
Community events, such as discussions, conferences, public assemblies, participatory events, or other educational and mobilising activities;
All activities should incorporate elements of non-formal education.
The projects must be implemented between 19 October 2026 and 14 March 2027. The awarded applicants are responsible for submitting the appropriate report as described in the call document as soon as possible, and no later than two weeks after the project implementation or 14 March 2027 at the latest.
This grant will be considered as income for the calculation of the member organisation's membership fee to FYEG in 2027 (calculated on the 2026 financial report).

Only applications submitted through the appropriate channels and in the required formats before 13 September 2026 at 23:59 CEST will be considered.
