The EU & our governments must protect their

citizens who have been kidnapped by Israel!

The Global Sumud Flotilla and the Thousands Madleen have been attacked and intercepted by Israel. Civilians and elected representatives have been abducted in a blatant violation of international law. This is not “an incident.” It is a crime. Every hour of silence makes Europe complicit.

We demand immediate, non-negotiable steps from EU institutions and member states:

  • Publicly and unequivocally call for the immediate and unconditional release of all detained civilians and elected representatives.

  • Open an independent, transparent investigation into the interception and any use of force.

  • Suspend high-level diplomatic privileges that shield Israel from accountability.

  • Ensure safe, protected humanitarian corridors and escorts the other boats of the Flotilla towards Gaza.

  • Use every lawful diplomatic channel to protect EU citizens and uphold international maritime and humanitarian law.

We don’t want empty words. We don’t want vague “concern.” While people are kidnapped and Gaza is starving, statements mean nothing. We want real action, not speeches. We are mobilising, documenting, protesting, and exposing every attempt to whitewash these crimes. We will block everything.

You must choose: stand with law and human life, or be remembered for turning away.

In the spirit of resistance, solidarity and justice, people from all over the world have taken to the sea, on board the many boats headed to Gaza to deliver humanitarian aid. 

Just last week, Israel already bombed several ships of the Global Sumud Flotilla. Luckily no one got hurt. This time. In the coming days and hours, they are likely to ramp up their attacks.

The Flotilla is entering the zone where

previous Israeli attacks took place:

the crews are in immediate danger.

And world leaders? Our governments?
Crickets. Nothing. 

Two years after the beginning of the genocide, none of them have taken the necessary measures to stop the genocide, isolate Israel and bring forward justice. We are thankful that ordinary citizens took it to themselves to do what world leaders were incapable of: living up to history.

Now, as the Flotilla approaches the shores of Gaza, we need our governments to protect their citizens on board. Italy and Spain have already deployed vessels to accompany the flotilla.

What about the rest of us?

So we ask: “Dear” governments, are you okay with Israel bombing your citizens? Will you let them get away with that as well? Or will you finally stand up, do the bare minimum and protect your citizens from the violence of a genocidal state? 

There is virtually no time to lose. 

The flotilla is only a few hours

away from the shores of Gaza.
