THE EUROPEAN TRAIN TOUR 2024
The Tour consisted of four decentralised one-day events coordinated by FYEG across Europe that showed young people how EU politics impacts their lives and why they had to participate in the 2024 EU elections in June!
Why did we start the project outside the EU? Serbia, like other European nations, deserves to be part of our European Union. We wanted to hear the voices of young people in Serbia and make them part of building a better EU.
By visiting Latvia, the tour engaged with young Latvians, raising awareness about the importance of participating in the EU elections and empowering them to voice their concerns and aspirations within the EU framework.
In Czechia, the tour fostered dialogue with young Czechs, highlighting how EU policies impact their lives and encouraging them to actively participate in shaping the future of the EU through their vote in the 2024 elections and beyond.
By visiting France, the tour inspired young French people to become active participants in EU politics and put the focus on the importance of their vote in shaping the direction of the EU.
The project was realised with funding from the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe.
