Federation of Young European Greens (FYEG) and Cooperation and Development Network (CDN) are excited to announce the study session titled "Green Perspective on European Security." This collaborative session will take place in Budapest from the 23rd to the 28th of October.
The study session "Green Perspective on European Security" aims to foster a common understanding and reevaluation of security in light of new global challenges. Guided by democratic values, human rights, and the rule of law, this session will provide a platform for approximately 40 young Europeans from diverse backgrounds to engage in intercultural dialogue.
We will achieve this by meeting the following objectives:
Creating an intercultural dialogue between youth from different European countries by providing a space to discuss the concept of security and ways to ensure it;
Deepening the participants' understanding of the current state of affairs of security in Europe;
Analysing the concept of security at the intersection of diverse societal factors, exploring their interrelationships effects of the policy decisions on public security;
Assessing the existing approaches to the concept of security and: their strengths and weaknesses.
FYEG aims to bring together a diverse group of young people who will help create a green narrative for young campaigners across Europe - from Dublin to Tbilisi, from Oslo to Nicosia.
