Call for Participants - European Lab: Social Justice, Here and Now

The Federation of Young European Greens (FYEG) is announcing an open call for participants for European Lab: Social Justice, Here and Now, an international activity that will take place from 21 to 23 March 2025 in Zadar in Croatia.

This 3-day kick-off event will focus on introducing participants to the concept of social justice and social policies. Participants from all over Europe will explore existing definitions of social justice, critically assess whether they are sufficient, and finally develop a young green understanding of social justice. As a participant, you will deepen your understanding of what social justice must entail in the XXI century to be effective and applicable to the modern context.

Help us connect the dots between human, animal and environmental justice!

FYEG aims to bring together a diverse and inclusive group of young people who will help refine the notion of social justice into an inclusive, intersectional one, that reflects the Green values. To do this, we need you. Our diverse and unique lived experiences, perspectives, and beliefs are what make us green. Help us to define what social justice should look like.

Participants in this international activity will have the opportunity to attend the European Green Party's event on social justice and social policies. The event seeks to connect social justice with Green perspectives at both national and international levels, fostering synergies between these viewpoints in the face of contemporary political and societal challenges. This dialogue will play a key role in shaping Green priorities for the upcoming EGP mandate.

European Lab: Social justice, Here and Now is the first activity of FYEG’s One for all, all for one project, supported by the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe, the CERV grant of the European Union and the Greens/EFA Group in the European Parliament.

Additionally, travel costs will be covered up to a given amount based on actual travel costs from your place of residence to Croatia. Participants will be asked to combine the most economical and environmentally friendly way of travelling (lowest price + travel time + CO2 emissions).

Category 1 (North and West region countries): EUR 90 (base fee) or 120 (solidarity fee)
