Aislinn Hughes
DWARS GroenLinkse Jongeren - Netherlands
Hi!
My name is Aislinn Hughes, I am 23 years old, and I am writing this from a bar in the Hague, the Netherlands. Through this short introduction, I hope to provide a peek into who I am, in case we haven't had the pleasure to meet yet. I have been active within the Dutch Greens for nearly two years, and with this opportuntity, I hope to expand my activities to a European level. Besides my green activism, committee work and internship, the other green facet in my life is my Irish heritage. This has played a part in my studies, namely, English literature, and my current Masters in International Relations. Besides that I have an undying love for music, cooking, tattoos, social media, and most of all, people such as yourself, who share the green messages. You will find my motivation and vision for FYEG in seperate documents, so I hope you enjoy the light reading material. Thank you for your time and consideration!Green greetings,
Aislinn

Dear green friends,
I am Amy (she/her) and I am very excited to be running for the open EC position!
My visions for FYEG and our world involve young motivated people who are ready to shape the future we deserve. An inclusive, sustainable and green future. My anger might have started my political journey but love has sustained it. From my first FYEG event on and throughout each more event, I noticed the love and community that FYEG was offering.
We need to unite this energy and love and channel it towards the multiplicity of crises that we and our burning world is facing. It is normal to be overwhelmed at times where one crisis haunts the other, but if we tackle them step by step together, we will see change.
I am ready to bring my feminist luxembourgish perspective to FYEG and to keep the balance between work and fun in our Organization. I have so many more aspirations, visions and causes I want us to fight for but let's take them step by step.
With lots of love,
Amy Winandy

Hey FYEG!
My name is Anja, I'm a 21-year-old local politician and student activist from Finnish Young Greens. I am running for the Executive Committee to elevate our work on inclusivity, bravery, and strength in our movement from the inside.
Having experience working in both Finnish Young Greens' and FYEG offices, I know how the work of the EC and office team could complement each other to make the organisations more efficient. My political background comes from local politics, focusing especially on social policies and education.
We're not just chasing electoral success; we're committed to sustaining our impactful work. Following recent electoral setbacks for the Greens, we face the question of what's next. As the EC member of 2023-2024, I promise to try to find a solution to this question by building space for brave and direct dialogue yet sticking to our existential values. We need to foster our very rare community. A time of crisis and stagnation calls for more radical hope!

Kelsey Trevett
Young Greens of England and Wales
My name is Kelsey Trevett (they/them), and I'm the former Co-Chair and Equality & Diversity officer of the Young Greens of England and Wales. I'm a recent graduate from a BA programme in Philosophy, Politics, and economics, and have a strong background in campaigning, within and beyond the Green movement, for intrinsically-linked social and climate justice. I'm a young queer disabled activist, and bring my background, personal and professional experience to the table, advocating for an unapologetically anticapitalist political platform, brought about by diverse and inclusive organising. I can be found with my guide dog, Lacey -- a strong advocate of UBI (universal biscuit income!) --, and often at a protest, demonstration, or on a picket line.
