Call for Delegates - General Assembly 2021 (CLOSED)

The Federation of Young European Greens warmly invites you to join our General Assembly (GA) between June 4th and June 6th, 2021.

The GA is the most important decision-making event that takes place each year. It is the occasion to reflect on our work, elect our leadership and decide on our future plans.

Because of the Coronavirus pandemic, the General Assembly will take place online, with remote participation of its delegates and observers. You can find all the information about the GA on this page.

Selection of delegates and observers

  • Each Member Organisation (Full, Candidate, Observer) has a right to nominate two delegates. These delegates will have full speaking rights. Delegates of full member organisations will have voting rights.
  • Each Working Group (Feminist Network, Just Transition WG, Democracy and Inclusion WG) has a right to nominate two delegates. These delegates will have speaking rights as deemed appropriate by the Presidency. They have no voting rights.
  • Other members of your Organisation (Full, Candidate, Observer) and Working Group members can register as Observers. Observers will be able to follow the discussions as participants. There is no limit to the number of Observers.
  • There will be no participation fee for delegates or observers. We encourage you to make sure that your delegations are gender-balanced meaning at least one of the two delegates should identify as woman (cis and trans) and/or trans and/or genderqueer.

Selection of delegates

FYEG encourages you to start choosing your two delegates, preparing them for GA already.

Here is the registration form for the delegates. Please fill it in as soon as possible. Deadline for registering delegates and observers is April 22nd, Thursday 23:59 CET.

  • It's a good practice to have one experienced delegate (who has been to previous GAs or MO forum) and one less experienced delegate (to ensure transfer of knowledge).
  • It's encouraged to have a gender-balanced delegation, meaning at least one of the two delegates should identify as woman (cis and trans) and/or trans and/or genderqueer.

Practical Information

The General Assembly will take place between June 2nd and June 6th (full days between June 4th and June 6th), online with remote participation of its delegates and observers. Please check the Programme for the Draft Programme for more information.

As the General Assembly is taking place online, there will not be a participation fee for delegates.
