CO-SPOKESPEOPLE (2 Positions)

Eleanor Morrissey (Young Greens of England and Wales)

Eleanor joined the Green Party of England and Wales in 2016 and became involved with FYEG in 2018 – as an intern, working group member, prep and coordination team member, and Executive Committee member during which she has worked on social rights, digital education, and global cooperation. Having lived in 5 different European countries, her passion for international politics stems from listening to different experiences and working towards common goals, and in her activism and work she hopes to make the EU bubble transparent while calling for global solidarity.

Driven by eco-socialism, feminism, and human rights – Eleanor pushes for activism online and in the streets. When she’s not dreaming up communication strategies for a green Europe, she’s drinking tea or binge-watching detective dramas.

Mina Tolu (Maltese Young Greens)

I am Mina Tolu, a trans activist and green politician. I am seeking re-election as co-spokesperson of FYEG for a second term. I really value the year I have worked with FYEG to contribute to make Europe more feminist, social and sustainable! I hope to continue the work we have achieved in the last year in addressing ways to make the work environment healthier for our staff and volunteers. As well as to centre conversations on the way FYEG’s structures accidentally replicate dominant structures from the outside - and how to tackle this tangibly and actively. My background lies in LGBTQI and Green organisations on both local and European level, communications and campaigns, delivering non-formal education workshops, and facilitation of difficult conversations. I believe that this experience allows me to contribute to FYEG by offering guidance on our communications and external representation, facilitating meetings, and navigating our political goals strategically.

TREASURER (1 Position)

Stefanie De Bock (Jong Groen)

Hi you! My name is Stefanie, I am 24 years old and I am currently living in Ghent, Belgium. The past year, I had the immense honor to be the treasurer and I learned a lot. Although it hasn’t been the most easy year, we managed to work on a lot of things. And things are just getting started. That is why I am presenting myself again as a candidate during this general assembly. I am immensely motivated to continue the work we started last year and hope to get your support for this.

A tiny bit more about myself: from 2016 - 2018, I was the co-spokesperson of Jong Groen. I have a Master in political sciences from Ghent University. Last year, I started as an anti-arms campaigner at the Belgian peace organisation Vredesactie. My passions are writing, shouting through a megaphone at demonstrations and smashing patriarchy. If you would have any questions on my candidacy or anything else, don’t hesitate to let me know! I am always happy to answer them!

Clara Winkler (Grüne Jugend)

Hi, I am Clara a European feminist climate activist. I started my activism in 2016 and look back to several years of experience in the international work of Grüne Jugend, as co-spokesperson of local activist groups and being active in the Feminist Network (and Committee) of FYEG. My superpower is creating feminist and inclusive structures in which I have a lot of experience and knowledge, which I am always happy to share. Currently, I am studying International Relations and Law. Almost every minute of my studies and my free time, I am spending on learning and teaching about environmental protection, climate justice and gender equity. In the rest of my time, you can always find me outside, mostly climbing in the mountains, hiking or sleeping in a hammock. The green movement is growing, and the climate crisis is not waiting. As EC member I would like to help FYEG to involve all our resources and activists as effectively as possible, to strengthen our voice and create the urgently needed change.
