Federation of Young European Greens

The General Assembly of United Nations has designated 25 November as the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and invited governments, international organisations and NGOs to organise activities designated to raise public awareness of the problem on that day. The Gender Working Group of FYEG has decided to commemorate this day by a series of articles dealing with various aspects of gender-based violence.

The organising committee invites you to submit papers, long or short, addressing this theme and related topics such as verbal and active violence against women in Europe, experiences of women fleeing violence, organisations helping victims of gender-based violence, religious violence against women in Europe and female circumcision in Europe. The deadline for the papers is 14th of November. The papers should be sent by e-mail to one of the members of the organising committee.
